unfortunately you did not update me on your progress
the most promissing images I saw was the following
and it was successful becaus the cylinders intersect.
that is why I highly recommend the following:
please continue your last semesters aproach
fill the space between the two hypersheres with spheres. but unlike the apollonoan gaskets your spheres should INTERSECT.
they can even intersect with the outer skin of the Hyper Sphere to create apertures just like in the two images below:
