you have to REFINE THE COMPONENT it always looks exerted and mechanical you don't design the component and you don't play with the subdivision of the Hyper sphere either there is no rythm no change it is almost impossible to create a hexagonal pattern that does have gaps so it looks noisy allthough the intelligence of a hexagonal pattern is that it can populate curved bodies wthout gaps
e.g look at the columns of your colleague Mrs. Chen in the post above where the column's shields create a pattern that has no gaps...
